The 5-Minute Face Kit

Yes! We designed this kit specifically for people who don’t wear makeup, are new to makeup, or just don’t wear it that often. 

• The formulas are purposefully buildable, so you have more control over how much color you want.
• The textures are light and not “sticky,” so you’ll feel like you have nothing on.
• The colors in the kit go perfectly together, so you don’t have to guess if you picked the right shades.
• Everything in this kit can be applied with your fingers. You don’t need to invest in any brushes.

“Clean” isn’t a regulated term. There’s no official definition and every brand uses it a little differently, so if it sounds like marketing, I understand.

Here’s what it means at Minori. Over the last decade or so, more and more research has found possible links between some common cosmetic ingredients and hormone health, including women’s reproductive health. Certain phthalates, often hidden inside “fragrance,” have been linked to hormone disruption. Talc can be contaminated with asbestos if it isn’t carefully sourced and tested. The science isn’t settled on all of these, but it was enough for many brands to start looking for safer alternatives that work just as well.

That’s also where long “free from” lists come from. As a small brand, we don’t run our own studies. We follow the standards set by regulators and retailers who have the resources to review the research. The European Union bans more than 1,600 ingredients from cosmetics, compared with about a dozen in the US. Clean beauty retailers go further: Credo restricts over 2,700 ingredients and The Detox Market over 1,500. We formulated to EU standards and to the Credo and Detox Market standards. Together, that’s more than 3,000 ingredients we leave out, including parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic fragrance and talc.

Our products are also gluten-free, alcohol-free and nano-particle free, and our mica is ethically sourced.

One more thing: clean doesn’t mean natural. Natural isn’t automatically safer (poison ivy is natural), and some of the gentlest ingredients are made in a lab.

All five products are full size. Here’s roughly how long each one lasts, depending on how often you wear it:

• Sunscreen (50 ml): about 6 weeks with daily use at the recommended amount (about ¼ teaspoon for your face), or about 3 months at 3 to 4 times a week. The tubes currently shipping expire May 2028.
  

• Mascara (8 ml): about 2 to 3 months with daily use, or 5 to 6 months at 3 to 4 times a week, which lines up with its 6-month shelf life once opened. Unopened, it keeps for 24 months.

• Lip Gloss (3.5 ml): about 3 months with daily use, or about 6 months at 3 to 4 times a week. Use within 12 months of opening, or 30 months unopened.
  

• Cream Blush and Cream Highlighter (5 g each): about 9 months with daily use, or a full year at 3 to 4 times a week. Both are water-free formulas, which makes them very stable. For the best texture and color, use within 12 months of opening, or 30 months unopened.
  

Yes. You have 30 days to return the full kit or any item in it, and return shipping is on us. If you return a single item, you’ll get back what you paid for it as part of the kit, which is 17% less than its regular price. For example, the mascara is $26 on its own, so you’d get back $21.67.
